Join Carlos for a photography workshop and explore light, lens, location and moment to portray a person, persona or both. Using a phone or camera, understand how to use both natural and artificial light to capture a portrait. In natural, artificial or introduced light, you'll learn how to create the environment to best portray the who, what, where, why and how of a portrait. Seeing detail, from light and movement to moment and texture, is the key to better photography. Understand the use of the phone or camera to create images that can be manipulated in many ways, then printed digitally, published to social media or made into negatives and printed in analong "alternative" methods. While you will not make prints in this workshop, you will learn how the process is becoming more available. This workshop is an invitation to express yourself, not just to take pictures.
