Join Carlos for a photography workshop wandering the Los Poblanos grounds, using phones or cameras to capture a portrait of place. Carlos believes every photograph is a kind of self-portrait, and together you will explore subject, proximity, shapes, composition, lens and color through the visual medium. Understand the use of the phone or camera to create images that can be manipulated in many ways, then printed digitally, published to social media or made into negatives and printed in analong "alternative" methods. While you will not make prints in this workshop, you will learn how the process is becoming more available. This workshop is an invitation to express yourself, not just to take pictures.
